We are sorry to inform that one of Denmark’s most talented and successful U21 couples – and reigning Youth 10 dance Champions Vladimir Kasilov and Mie Rise Adrian have decided to terminate their partnership.

Unfortunately Mie has a back and hip injury, and since April have been unable to practice and compete. Team Denmark doctors and leading back specialist in Denmark expect Mie to be back on the competition floor at full strength in the end of the year. With this fact in mind, Vladimir and Mie had a talk about the future plans, and has agreed to stop their partnership from here.

Both Vladimir and Mie want to continue dancing on the highest international level and Vladimir is therefore already looking for a new partner. Mie is, off course, also searching for a partner, and will be available for try outs as soon as the doctors allow her to be back on the practice floor.

During their approx 15 months together on the dance floor Vladimir and Mie managed to reach the absolute top in Youth and Under 21 in Denmark and international. Amongst their best international results are semi finalists - 10th place - at WDSF 2012 World Youth 10 dance Championship and Finalists at Copenhagen Open 2013 Amateur 10 dance, and had in total the honour to represent Denmark at five WDSF World Championships in their short time together. At this stage Vladimir and Mie would like to say: "We would like to thank our fantastic team of coaches, especially our main coaches Martino Zanibellato & Michelle Abildtrup and Emanuel Valeri & Tania Kehlet and Sports Director in the Danish Federation, Henrik Larsen for their big support". Beside that Vladimir & Mie wish to extend thanks and gratitude to each other as partners, their supporters, families, their club – KAF Copenhagen - and The Elite Committee of the Danish Dancesport Federation for their support.
