karen hardy's retirement

does anyone know why karen retired? have seen on one website that she did for family reasons. just that when she spoke about it on tv she said it broke her ehart to retire, so why did she?

Currently there are quite a few internet video clips of her dancing and winning on the BBC dance show.  To me she appears a wonderful enthusiastic dancing personality who is enthusiastic and encouraging to young dancers as a teacher and judge.
