We talked to Aleksandr Kalenyuk and Olena Ablitsova, the couple who won the Amateur Rising Star Ballroom event at the UK Open 2016 in Bournemouth (England) in January. They are from Ukraine but recently started to represent Italy.
Sasha and Olena are very young still, but they understand they need to work together as one united team - and that's what they are commited to achieve. It seems their strategy works, they very rarely argue!
With this interview we started a new series i.e. interviews with all the Rising Star winners from the UK Open 2016.
